Give the plan, the time window, and the history different jobs

Peptide cycle tracking is a way to organize a user-defined plan over a period of time. The term “cycle” describes the calendar structure in this guide. It is not a recommendation to use any compound, follow a particular duration, or alternate periods of use.

A useful tracker separates three kinds of information. A protocol describes a repeating plan you entered. A cycle groups relevant protocols into a dated window. A completed log records an event. Keeping those roles distinct makes a review much clearer.

Record the dates before interpreting the calendar

Give the record a descriptive name and a clear start date. Record a planned end date or duration only when you have that information. Keep a note of the source of the plan so you can distinguish your own organizational labels from instructions provided by a professional.

Check how your tool displays the first and last day. A duration and an end date can be interpreted differently across calendars and spreadsheets. Verify the actual dates shown rather than assuming that a label such as “four weeks” means the same thing in every tool.

If a plan includes several phases, label the phases in terms you will understand later. A phase is simply a named segment of the record. The tracker should help you see its dates; it should not decide which phases are medically appropriate.

Make changes understandable in hindsight

Plans change, and a useful record makes those changes visible. If a start date moves, a record ends early, or a schedule is corrected, note when the change occurred and why. Preserve the actual history instead of making past entries match the new plan.

When reviewing a completed period, distinguish the planned end from the actual end. A progress indicator usually measures elapsed calendar time. It does not establish that every scheduled event happened or that a treatment produced a result.

For the same reason, a calendar gap is a recording fact rather than a dosing instruction. Check your records to establish what you know, and ask the appropriate clinician or pharmacist about any medical action. Do not infer a catch-up schedule from an empty square.

Review one defined period at a time

A useful review starts with a specific date range. Compare the plan with the completed entries in that range, then review any notes about corrections or uncertainty. Avoid combining several periods into a single completion percentage before you understand what each period includes.

Use the same names for the same records across your calendar, notes, and exports. If you change a name, preserve enough context to identify older entries. Clear naming is particularly helpful when more than one protocol belongs to the same cycle.

At the end of a period, retain the record as history and create a new dated record for a new plan. That keeps reviews tied to what was known at the time. The result is a timeline you can discuss and verify, rather than a calendar whose past changes every time you edit the future.
